ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON "CHILD JUSTICE" - OCTOBER 18TH, 2019
One Day Workshop on "Child Justice" was held on 18th, October 2019. This is a National Level workshop where the Chief Guest of the Workshop was Hon. Chief Justice. Cholendra Shamsher JBR, with Special guests as Minister Tham Maya Thapa of Ministry of Women Children and Senior Citizen, Unicef Country Representative Ms. Elke Wische, Attorney General Mr. Agney Kharel from Office of Attorney General. Other dignitaries presented were Chief Registrar of Supreme Court, Executive Director of National Judicial Academy, Hon.Judge from high Court and from District Courts and Members of Child Justice Coordinating Committee. The Objective of the workshop was;
- To create a dialogue between Government and civil Societies to work in a coordinated manner for the rights Justice for children in Nepal,
- To main streamline roles and responsibilities between government agencies and civil societies, by analysis gap at implementation level
- To avoid duplication of programs at implementing level which usually leads to less effective of time and resources.
