Introduction

Central Child Justice Committee (CCJC) previously known as JJCC, is a high-level government committee composed of 11 members which is chaired by the Honorable Justice of the Supreme Court of Nepal. As per the Administration of Child Justice (Procedure) Regulation, 2076, the committee is mandated to conduct various training for capacity building of person and institution involved in administration of child justice, awarerress programs and give suggestion in forming policies and laws relating to child justice to Nepal Government, suggest government of Nepal to include various issues of child justice and child rights in the syllabus of the universities and schools of Nepal etc. Secretariat of Central Child Justice Committee is established for implementing and carrying out the decision of the Committee. The Secretariat is located at Shree Mahal, Pulchowk, Lalitpur. The Central Child Justice Committee is funded by the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizen. Likewise, the secretariat has been implementing "Justice for Children" program since 2013 with support of UNICEF-Nepa1.
